The Colombian artist Shakira has released a snippet of her new song, 'Dai Dai', the official anthem of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The clip was filmed at the famous Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro and features dancers dressed in the colors of national teams, as well as official balls from previous editions of the World Cup. The title of the song, which means 'Come on, come on' in Italian, is performed both in English and in Spanish, in collaboration with Nigerian artist Burna Boy.
The full release of the song is scheduled for May 14. Shakira has a history of contributions to final tournaments, having performed famous anthems such as 'Waka Waka' in 2010 and 'La La La' in 2014. The 2026 World Cup will start on June 11, taking place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with the opening match between Mexico and South Africa at the Azteca stadium.
