Romania's men's national youth handball team has qualified for the knockout round of the World Championships after a narrow victory against North Macedonia.

Romania U21 had an impressive run at the World Championships, managing to qualify among the 16 best teams in the world. After a win over Iceland (29-25) and a balanced match against North Macedonia, won 28-27, the tricolor showed character and determination. Daniel Stanciuc, with 13 goals, was named MVP of the match. The President of the Romanian Handball Federation, Constantin Din, emphasized the importance of this success for the youth and the future of Romanian handball. Romania will face the Faroe Islands in the last group match, with qualification already assured.
