The Romanian national team was defeated by reigning champions Spain on Monday evening in Voluntari, in the second round of the group stage of the UEFA EURO U19 2025. This victory qualified the Spaniards for the semi-finals.

For Romania, Luca Szimionaș (49) scored, while Antonio Cordero (3), Jon Martín (67) and Alejandro Monserrate (72) scored for Spain.
