Robert Lewandowski has chosen his new destination. Free of contract after the termination of his contract with FC Barcelona, the 37-year-old Polish striker will sign with Chicago Fire, a club in MLS. Lewandowski will undergo a medical examination next week and then will sign a two-year contract.
Lewandowski's debut could come on July 16 against Vancouver Whitecaps, where Thomas Muller plays. Then, on July 22, just three days after the World Cup final, a match against Inter Miami is scheduled.
