In the Club World Cup Group H match, Real Madrid opened the scoring through Gonzalo Garcia, but Al Hilal quickly equalized through Ruben Neves from the penalty spot. Although Madrid had a chance to win it, Fede Valverde missed an extra-time penalty saved by goalkeeper Bounou.
