Novak Djokovic, the top seed of the ATP tournament in Athens, managed to qualify for the semifinals after a victory against the Portuguese Nuno Borges. Although Borges played well in the first set, reaching a tiebreak, Djokovic dominated and won 7-1. In the second set, Djokovic achieved a single break at 4-3, which allowed him to win the set 6-4. This is Djokovic's eighth semifinal out of the 12 tournaments played this year. In the semifinals, he will face the winner of the match between Marcos Giron and Yannick Hanfmann. Additionally, Lorenzo Musetti also qualified for the semifinals, defeating Alexandre Muller 6-2, 6-4.
