In a group J match of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, North Macedonia secured a 1-0 victory over Kazakhstan, thanks to Aleksandar Trajkovski's 33rd minute goal. Although Kazakhstan had chances, including two shots against the bar, they failed to score. North Macedonia lead the group with 8 points, followed by Wales with 7 points, while Kazakhstan are third with 3 points and Belgium and Liechtenstein are bottom.
