Greece defeated Germany 1-0 on Sunday evening in Augsburg, in a match from the Nations League’s top tier. The result marks the Greeks’ first victory over Germany after 11 meetings and leaves Jurgen Klopp without a win in his first two matches as manager of the Mannschaft.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 74th minute by Dimitris Kourbelis, whose shot was deflected by Joshua Kimmich. Greece lead Group A2 with six points, followed by the Netherlands with four, while Germany have one point. The Netherlands defeated Serbia 2-1, with Mexx Meerdink scoring the goals, while Luka Jovic scored for the hosts.
