The brand of the legendary footballer Pele has been purchased by the Neymar family's company.

Neymar Santos Sr confirmed, during an event held at the Pelé Museum in Santos, Brazil, the acquisition of these rights by his sports agency NR Sports, which will now be able to commercially exploit the name and image of Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known as Pelé. 

According to Brazilian media, the acquisition amounts to 18 million dollars. The rights previously belonged to the American company Sport 10.
