European champions Paris Saint-Germain announced on Friday evening that head coach Luis Enrique had extended his contract by a further three years. The Spanish coach will remain in charge of the French team until the summer of 2030.
Aged 56, Luis Enrique had an agreement with PSG valid until the summer of 2027. The club began negotiations over an extension at the start of this year, with the talks concluding in a new long-term deal.
Luis Enrique took over the Parisian side in 2023. During his time at PSG, the coach has won three league titles, two French Cups and three French Super Cups. His honours also include two Champions League trophies, two UEFA Super Cups and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
The club’s management also announced contract extensions for several key players. Fabian Ruiz will remain in Paris until 2028, while Willian Pacho, Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu have signed deals valid until 2031. The decisions confirm PSG’s strategy of retaining the team’s core and the coaching staff for the coming seasons.>
