Luciano Spalletti is set to become the new coach of the Juventus team.

The former Italian national team coach, Luciano Spalletti, has accepted to become the coach of Juventus Torino, according to an announcement made by Gazzetta dello Sport. Spalletti, who won the Italian championship title with Napoli in the 2022-2023 season, will sign an agreement valid until the end of this season, with the option to extend for another two seasons, in case the team qualifies for the Champions League. The contract is expected to be formalized in the coming days.

Spalletti was recently dismissed from the management of the Italian national team after a severe defeat in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Juventus, currently in 8th place in Serie A, dismissed Igor Tudor after a defeat against Lazio.
