Mancini, known for his successful career at clubs like Inter Milan and Lazio, was close to returning to the Premier League, discussing with Nottingham Forest, but the club chose to appoint Sean Dyche.

An emblematic coach of European football, Mancini transformed Manchester City, winning the FA Cup in 2011 and the championship title in 2012. After a period in which he coached in Turkey, Italy, and Russia, he took over the Italian national team, with which he won EURO 2020.
