In the return match, Legia Warsaw started promisingly, opening the scoring through Jean-Pierre Nsame in the 11th minute, followed by Mileta Rajovic's goal in the 16th minute. However, the Cypriots scored in the 52nd minute and Legia failed to score again, despite an AEK player being sent off. Legia Warsaw will thus continue in the Conference League play-offs, while AEK Larnaca advance to the Europa League play-offs.
