Lautaro Martinez, the striker and captain of Inter Milan, has suffered a muscle strain in the soleus of his left leg, an injury that will keep him off the field for approximately three to four weeks.
The injury occurred during the Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt, and the player was substituted in the second half. Inter Milan issued an official statement following medical tests, mentioning that Martinez's condition will be reevaluated next week. This absence means that he will miss the derby against AC Milan scheduled for March 8, as well as four other important matches. This season, Lautaro has scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 35 matches.
