Former footballer and coach Jorge Costa has died at the age of 53 from heart complications. He was a leading figure in Portuguese football.

Jorge Costa, a Portuguese football legend and former coach of CFR Cluj and Gaz Metan Mediaș, died on Tuesday at the age of 53 after serious heart complications. Costa, known for his career with FC Porto, suffered a heart attack in 2022 but recovered. He made 383 appearances for Porto, with an impressive record, including a Champions League. After retiring from football, he coached several teams, including the Gabon national team.
