Iran is negotiating with FIFA for the relocation of all matches of the World Cup to Mexico

Mehdi Taj, the president of the Iranian Football Federation, stated that negotiations are currently underway with FIFA to host the team's matches in Mexico.

This decision comes after the Iranian sports minister emphasized that the players' participation in the tournament has been affected by the U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran. Although Trump stated that Iran is welcome at the World Cup, he expressed concerns regarding the safety of the team.

Iran has two matches scheduled in Los Angeles and one in Seattle.
