From Serie A to the Coppa Italia. Cristian Chivu wins his second trophy of the season with Inter.

Inter won the Coppa Italia final held at the Olimpico Stadium in Rome, defeating Lazio 2-0.

The match was decisive from the first half, with an own goal by defender Adam Marusic in the 14th minute and a goal scored by Lautaro Martinez in the 35th minute. This is the tenth Coppa Italia for the Milan club and the second trophy of the season, after winning the championship title.

The performance is significant for Cristi Chivu, in his first season as head coach, managing to achieve a league-Cup double, a feat that previous coaches have not accomplished. Inter eliminated teams such as Venezia, Torino, and Como on their way to the trophy.
