Former tennis player Horia Tecău has decided to step down as the non-playing captain of Romania's team in the Billie Jean King Cup, announcing his decision on Instagram. Tecău appreciated the experience gained and the collaborations with valuable people. Under his leadership, the Romanian team participated last year in the final tournament in Malaga, where they were defeated by Japan. Romania will play in Group B, alongside Poland and New Zealand, in the Billie Jean King Cup play-off from November 14-16.
