On Monday evening, Germany and the Netherlands secured their direct qualification for the World Cup in North America, scheduled for next year. Germany faced Slovakia at home, winning with a decisive 6-0, in a match where Sane, Woltemade, Gnabry, Baku, and Ouedraogo scored. Germany dominated the game, having 72% possession and 10 shots on target. On the other hand, the Netherlands achieved a clear victory of 4-0 against Lithuania, with goals from Reijnders, Gakpo, Xavi Simons, and Malen. In other qualifying matches, the Czech Republic defeated Gibraltar 6-0, while Malta lost 2-3 against Poland. The European qualifiers conclude on Tuesday, with decisive matches for other teams.
