The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced the opening of an office in Trump Tower, New York, with the aim of strengthening its local presence ahead of the 2026 World Cup. FIFA President Gianni Infantino stressed the importance of a local presence for a global organization and thanked the US government, including President Donald Trump, for its support. The World Club World Cup trophy will be on display in Trump Tower ahead of the finals.
