FCSB qualified for the 3rd round of the UEFA Youth League, defeating Lokomotiva Zagreb

FCSB, the champion of the 2024/2025 Youth League, managed to advance past the second round of the UEFA Youth League, defeating the Croatian team Lokomotiva Zagreb 3-2, the same result recorded in the first leg. The return match took place away, and the red-blues, coached by Marius Lucian Ștefan, started strong, leading 2-0 at halftime thanks to goals from Necșulescu and David Popa. Although the Croatians scored quickly in the second half, FCSB restored the advantage with a goal from Mihai Toma. Lokomotiva scored another goal in the 90th minute, but could not equalize. FCSB will face the winner between Akademia Puskas and Brann Bergen in the third round, with the first leg scheduled for November 26.
