FC Argeș defeated Rapid Bucharest with a score of 2-1 (1-1) on Tuesday evening, at home in Mioveni, in a match from the second round of the Romanian Cup in Group A.
Rapid opened the scoring in the 21st minute, through Petrila, but the hosts managed to equalize in the 38th minute, when Robert Moldoveanu scored. After a halftime score of 1-1, Bogdan Andone's team took the lead in the 52nd minute, with Moldoveanu being the scorer again.
FC Argeș is in first place in the group, with six points from two matches, while Rapid is third, with three points from the same number of matches played.
