Universitatea Craiova is preparing for the Champions League qualifiers, and UEFA has set the draw for the second qualifying round, if the Oltenians eliminate the champion of Belarus, ML Vitebsk.


Following the draw, Universitatea Craiova will face, if they advance past ML Vitebsk, the winner of Borac Banja Luka (Bosnia) and Levski Sofia (Bulgaria). The Oltenians have not benefited from the seeded status, so the possible opponent is, at least on paper, a favorite in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.


The second qualifying round is scheduled for July 21/22 and July 28/29, with Craiova set to play the first leg away.
