Donald Trump watched the Club World Cup final as Chelsea defeated PSG 3-0, to cheers and boos from spectators.

At the Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium, Donald Trump received a mixed reception, being applauded on arrival but booed when he appeared on the stadium screen. Chelsea had won their match against PSG 3-0, and the booing intensified when Trump presented the trophies. Although soccer is not very popular in the US, Trump has a close relationship with FIFA president Gianni Infantino, which gives him an advantage in promoting the 2026 World Cup.
