Erik Spoelstra's house, the coach of the Miami Heat NBA team, was destroyed by a violent fire on the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The incident occurred around 4:30 AM, when Spoelstra was on a return flight to Florida after a loss to the Denver Nuggets. At the time of the fire, no one was at home, and there were no reported casualties.
Spoelstra arrived at the scene to witness the destruction of his house, with images capturing him in front of the flames. The fire was completely extinguished around 8 AM, after the flames reached the height of the trees. Despite going through a traumatic experience, Spoelstra is scheduled to be present at the team's next game, despite the difficult situation. The coach, who has been leading the team since 2008, recently signed a record contract worth 120 million dollars for a period of eight years.
