Deportivo La Coruna has been promoted to La Liga after eight years of waiting.

Deportivo won 2-0 against a Real Valladolid already saved, at the Zorrilla stadium, and reached 77 points, thus securing at least second place in LaLiga Hypermotion, a position that guarantees promotion.

Meanwhile, Real Zaragoza (22nd place and last in Liga 2) has officially been relegated to the third division for the first time in 78 years.
