In an interview with billionaire Daniel Dines, David Popovici discussed the importance of failures in his career, stating that intense emotions are an integral part of sports. After winning the Olympic title, he felt disoriented, wondering what comes next. It was followed by a year of therapy, during which he learned to swim for pleasure, without the pressure to win, and to inspire others through his passion for sports.
