At the WTT Feeder Cappadocia 2026, the Romanian pair Darius Movileanu and Andrei Istrate managed to win silver medals in men's doubles, after an impressive run in the competition. In the final, they faced the tournament favorites, the Belgians Martin Allegro and Adrien Rassenfosse, and although they played well in the second set, they lost 1-3. Darius Movileanu also had a remarkable performance in singles, where he obtained silver after a close final against Nikita Artemenko, losing 2-3.

Additionally, the Romanian athletes won gold in mixed doubles through Movileanu and Elena Zaharia, and bronze in women's doubles with Zaharia and Ioana Sîngeorzan. This competition highlighted the talent and determination of Romanian athletes in table tennis.
