Darius Movileanu won the silver medal in the men's singles event at the WTT Feeder Linz 2026 tournament, held in Austria. The Romanian athlete reached the final after a solid run, overcoming four opponents and winning two matches decided in the fifth set.

In the final, Movileanu faced Japan's Yuta Tanaka. The Romanian made an excellent start and took a 2-0 lead in sets after winning 13-11 and 11-3. Tanaka, however, fought back into the match, won the next two sets, and prevailed in the deciding set, 11-8. The final score was 3-2 for the Japanese player.

The silver medal comes less than two weeks after Movileanu's success at WTT Star Contender Astana 2026, where he won gold in the men's doubles event alongside Eduard Ionescu.
