An alarming incident occurred during the Mexican Formula 1 Grand Prix when driver Liam Lawson was just a step away from hitting two track marshals crossing the track. The moment was captured by his car's onboard camera and sparked strong reactions from fans. Lawson, who was returning to the track after a pit stop to fix a problem with the front wing, stated: "Are you kidding? Did you see them? They could have been killed!".

Racing Bulls reported the incident, and the FIA confirmed that an investigation has been initiated. Race control was informed about the presence of debris on the track, and the marshals were instructed to intervene. A communication error may be responsible for this dangerous incident. The race was won by Lando Norris, who became the leader in the drivers' standings.
