CSM Bucharest achieved an important victory in the Champions League, defeating Brest Bretagne Handball at home on Sunday with a score of 40-34 (20-16). This victory allows them to climb to 4th place in the standings, accumulating 16 points. The main scorers for CSM were Omoregie with 9 goals, Ostergaard with 8, and Maslova with 7, while for Brest, Vyakhireva was the most efficient, scoring 14 goals.


In the twelfth round, other notable matches included Krim – Ikast (33-35) and Sola HK – FTC Budapest (24-28). Brest remains the leader with 18 points, followed by FTC Budapest and Odense. CSM Bucharest will play their next match on February 14, away against FTC Budapest. Additionally, Gloria Bistrita plays in Group A of the Champions League, and the leader Gyor has secured qualification for the quarter-finals.
