CS Vâlcea 1924 surprised by signing American basketball player Bryn Forbes, known for his NBA title won with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2020-2021 season. Forbes, a 1.90 m shooter and 32 years old, has extensive experience in the NBA, having played 430 games and being ranked in the Top 50 all-time three-point shooters. The club emphasized that bringing Forbes in is proof of their ability to help players reach their maximum potential.
However, Forbes has been involved in controversies related to allegations of domestic violence, but CS Vâlcea stated that they are aware of these issues and that the player has not been convicted. The club mentioned that all complaints have been resolved favorably for Forbes. He has had a diverse career, playing for teams in the USA, Puerto Rico, and Greece.
