Crystal Palace made history by winning the UEFA Conference League, defeating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the final held at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. This was the first participation of the Premier League team in European cups, and their performance is remarkable, considering they previously only had matches in the Intertoto Cup in 1998.
