The Argentine driver Franco Colapinto will continue to compete for Alpine in the 2026 Formula 1 season, alongside Pierre Gasly, after securing a full-time seat this season by replacing Jack Doohan. Although he had a difficult start, with criticism from advisor Flavio Briatore, Colapinto improved his performances and demonstrated competitiveness in the last six Grands Prix.
