Cameron Norrie won 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, putting an end to a series of 17 consecutive victories by Alcaraz in the Masters 1000 tournaments, after several titles won in Monte-Carlo, Rome, and Cincinnati. Additionally, Alcaraz has never managed to get past the quarter-finals at the Rolex Paris Masters. In the next round, Norrie will play against the winner of the match between Valentin Vacherot and Arthur Rinderknech.
