Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has qualified for the semi-finals of the men's singles at the Paris Olympics.

Alcaraz defeated American Tommy Paul in the quarterfinals, 6-3, 7-6 (7), to become the fifth Spaniard to reach this stage of the Olympic competition. He next faces Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
