Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has qualified for the last 16 in Cincinnati with his 50th win of the 2025 season.

Carlos Alcaraz, world No. 2 and reigning Roland Garros champion Carlos Alcaraz defeated Serbian Hamad Medjedovic 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the round of 16 of the ATP Masters 1,000 tournament in Cincinnati. This was his 50th win of the 2025 season, making him the leader in number of matches won. Alcaraz will play Italian Luca Nardi in the next round after he benefited from Czech Jakub Mensik's withdrawal. The matches were affected by a thunderstorm that evening.
