World Cup: Canada and Bosnia drew, score 1-1, in the first match of group B

Canada managed to achieve a 1-1 result against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, in the first World Cup match held on Canadian soil. Jovo Lukic opened the scoring for Bosnia in the 21st minute with a header, but Cyle Larin equalized for Canada in the 78th minute, thus marking the first point in the team's history in the world competition. Although Canada had better possession in the first half, they failed to create clear chances, and Lukic sparked excitement among the Bosnian fans with his goal.

In the second half, Canada continued to attack, but was saved by Kolasinac, who deflected a shot onto the crossbar. Larin brought joy to Canadian fans, including Hollywood stars present in the stands. Canada will play their next match against Qatar on June 18 in Vancouver.
