Benfica Lisbon drew 0-0 with Fenerbahce Istanbul in the first leg of the Champions League play-offs, while Bodo/Glimt beat Sturm Graz 5-0.

The match between Fenerbahce and Benfica was evenly balanced, with chances for both sides but no goals.
