Bayern Munich has decided not to include Jamal Musiala in the squad for the German Supercup, scheduled for Saturday against Borussia Dortmund, after the midfielder experienced two episodes of fainting within three days. The last incident occurred during a friendly match against Heidenheim, where Musiala fell on the field but recovered quickly.

Coach Vincent Kompany will confirm the decision at a press conference. Musiala stated that he was diagnosed with 'absence seizures', a neurological condition that causes temporary loss of consciousness, but assured that he is under treatment and there are no risks to his health. He emphasized that these episodes are part of his life and that he feels optimistic about his recovery.
