Barcelona 'wiped the floor' with Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Barcelona humiliated Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Super Cup, as the Catalans won 5-2 in a match played in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Real Madrid started the match strongly and opened the scoring in the 5th minute, through Mbappe. Child prodigy LamineYamal restored parity in the 22nd minute. Lewandowski made it 2-1 from the penalty spot, before Raphinha scored with a tremendous header just three minutes later. It made it 4-1 just before half-time, Alejandro Balde scoring after a counter-attack. Just three minutes after the restart, Raphinha scored the Catalans' fifth goal to make it 5-1. Real closed the gap with a magnificent goal by Rodrygo in the 59th minute.
