Arsenal defeated Chelsea 3-2 in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal.

Arsenal London won on Wednesday evening, away, with a score of 3-2, against the London team Chelsea, in the first leg of the League Cup semifinal. Ben White scored in the 7th minute, putting the first goal of the match on the scoreboard at Stamford Bridge, in favor of the visitors. Viktor Gyokeres doubled the "Gunners" advantage in the 48th minute.

Alejandro Garnacho reignited the hopes of the stands by scoring in the 57th minute. Arsenal, however, returned to a two-goal advantage after Martin Zubimendi's success in the 71st minute. Garnacho scored once more in the 83rd minute, but Arsenal prevailed with 3-2. The return leg will be played on February 3.
