Swedish athlete Armand Duplantis improved his world record in the pole vault by jumping 6.28 meters at the Stockholm meet, marking the 12th time he has broken his personal best. After a jump of 6.00 meters which secured his victory, Duplantis achieved the new record on his first attempt, making it the first time he broke the record in front of his home crowd. His previous record was set four months ago at a competition in France.
