Ana Maria Dogan won the first medal for Romania at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) 2025, taking bronze in the long jump with a performance of 6.09 meters, a new personal best. Gold went to Poland's Aleksandra Sochaka and silver to Finland's Ella Verna Josefine Wallin. Romania has 87 athletes taking part in the festival, which runs from July 20-26 in North Macedonia and Croatia.
