Everton achieved its first consecutive victories of this Premier League season, after winning 1-0 away at Manchester United, ending the hosts' four-match winning streak at Old Trafford, even though they played with 10 men from the 13th minute. Referee Tony Harrington sent off Idrissa Gueye, who struck his teammate Michael Keane in the face during a scuffle.

The only goal of the match was scored by Dewsbury-Hall (29).

In the standings, Manchester United is in 10th place with 18 points, while Everton is in 11th place, also with 18 points.
