The German Alexander Zverev, ranked 3rd in the world, achieved an important victory in the Bjorn Borg group at the ATP Finals, defeating the American Ben Shelton, ranked 8th in the ATP, with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (8/6). In the first part of the match, the two players were tied (3-3), but Zverev accelerated and won the first set. The second set was extremely contested, with Shelton having a 4-0 lead in the tie-break and three set points, but he made decisive errors that allowed Zverev to come back and win.
