Australian Alex De Minaur won the Washington tennis tournament, beating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina of Spain in the final after a dramatic match in which he saved three match points. The victory propelled De Minaur to No. 8 in the ATP rankings with 3,335 points, while Davidovich Fokina moved up to No. 19. Jannik Sinner remains the top player, followed by Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev. Among the Romanian players, Filip Cristian Jianu moved up to 260th place, while Gabi Boitan fell to 398th.
