Romania has inaugurated the European Cyber Security Competence Center, making it the cyber security capital of Europe.

The European Cyber Security Research, Technology and Industrial Competence Centre (ECCC) will manage €50 billion worth of programs for EU Member States' cyber security capabilities. It represents one of Romania's most notable international successes in recent years and will help develop and implement innovative solutions for digital security.
