Vasile Tofan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, was received on Thursday, July 30, by President Nicușor Dan at the Cotroceni Palace and, subsequently, by the interim Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, at the Victoria Palace. The head of the Executive from Chișinău is in Bucharest for his first foreign trip since taking office.
According to the Presidential Administration, on this occasion, President Nicușor Dan reaffirmed the constant and multidimensional support that Romania provides to the Republic of Moldova, both in the course of European integration and in bilateral terms, at all levels, including regarding the strengthening of resilience and security.
"I am glad to be in Bucharest, together with ministers Bolea Vladimir and Dorin Junghietu, for my first official visit as Prime Minister. Romania is the main strategic partner of the Republic of Moldova and the most devoted supporter of our European path.
We want to deepen this relationship. Today we are discussing concrete projects in economy, infrastructure, energy, security, education, and culture," wrote Vasile Tofan on Facebook.
