The electoral campaign in the Republic of Moldova has officially begun. The legislative elections are scheduled for September 28.

The electoral campaign for the legislative elections in the Republic of Moldova, scheduled for September 28, began on Friday. Four electoral blocs, 21 parties, and seven independent candidates have been registered. Out of 32 applications, 10 were rejected. Citizens will be able to vote in 2274 polling stations, including abroad. President Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of the elections and the risks of external influences, urging citizens to be vigilant against corruption and manipulation. Prime Minister Dorin Recean warned about external pressures from Russia but emphasized that voting remains a tool for citizens.
